We sell no products and accept no commissions or contingent fees. You pay for our time and expertise. Clients are billed based on actual time spent on their behalf, including any time spent researching a specific issue.
All of our professional work includes a review process by supervisory personnel, including principals. This review time is also charged to the client. In addition, we are reimbursed for out-of-pocket expenses including out-of-town travel, overnight lodging, meals, telephone calls, copies and postage.
Hourly Rates
A standard hourly rate is set for each staff member (including support staff) based on the criteria of experience and ability. If no extenuating circumstances exist, clients are billed using standard hourly rates multiplied by actual hours worked. It is not uncommon to adjust fees so determined to recognize excessive time spent in an unfamiliar area or excessive hourly rates due to unavailability of less experienced staff to perform routine accounting jobs.
Hourly rates vary substantially among staff members. Accordingly, it makes sense to use less experienced staff members to perform routine accounting procedures to achieve the lowest hourly rate. Our rates are adjusted annually to account for increasing experience and qualifications of staff members. Our billing rates are available by request.
Your Bill
Our hourly rates are multiplied by the number of hours worked on your behalf (we bill in quarter-hour increments), and related expenses are added to arrive at our fee for services rendered.
Payment is due when bills are presented. Service charges will be assessed on any accounts unpaid after 30 days.
